Corporate Workforce Training
What can the Education Exchange do for you? We can help you design and develop programs that will increase the literacy skills of your workforce.
A 2005 survey in Skills Gap Report – A Survey of the American Manufacturing Workforce concluded employee preparedness is getting worse in the manufacturing sector when compared to results of earlier, comparable studies.
The vast majority of American manufacturers are experiencing a serious shortage of qualified employees, which in turn is causing significant impact to business and the ability of the country as a whole to compete in a global economy. 83 percent of the respondents indicated that these shortages are currently impacting their ability to serve customers. Focus is on reducing turnover among current employees and attracting new workers and companies are spending more on training programs.
An overwhelming majority of respondents stated their workforce is the most important factor for future business success – 74 percent indicated that having a “high-performance workforce” will be key to their business success.

Vocational Training
Career and Technical Education (CTE)) prepares learners for careers that are based in manual or practical activities, traditionally non-academic and totally related to a specific trade, occupation or vocation. Wikipedia
As the labor market becomes more specialized and economies demand higher levels of skill, vocational education becomes more necessary and important to success in the global economy.
Today there is an ever increasing demand f for skilled US workers in fields such as mechanics, computer technology, electronics, global positioning, and trades ranging from culinary arts to construction. More individuals are finding that they are more “marketable” if they have practical technical training.
In response to this demand, the Education Exchange is ever increasing the number and scope of training opportunities it provides. Certified Teacher Assistant, IC3, and Microsoft Office Specialist are just a few of the classes being offered at the Education Exchange.
Paraprofessional Training (Teacher Assistant Certification)
